Consultations continue between Algerian president and parties on supervising elections

Algerian President Liamine Zeroual directed messages to officials and party leaders to appoint their representatives to the joint group deciding on the tasks of the national independent committee to supervise the early presidential elections, decided to be performed during April.
It is expected that after the agreement on the committee's mandate, its head, members and branches in the 28 Algerian states could be appointed. Zeroual has approved the demands of the parties' on guaranteeing the purity and integrity of coming elections, in addition to decreasing the number of moving voting bureaus.
