Meetings of Kuwaiti - Egyptian committee wrapping up

The meetings of the first session for the Kuwaiti - Egyptian committee started on Sunday in Kuwait for two days.

Egyptian Foreign Minister Amr Moussa is heading his country's delegation to these meetings, and Kuwaiti Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Sheikh Sabah al-Ahmed al-Jabir heads the Kuwaiti side.

Moussa hailed the ties between the two countries in different fields saying that Egypt will seek during the committee's meetings to push forward the commercial economic cooperation.

Egyptian Assistant Foreign Minister for Arab Affairs and the Middle East Sayed Abu Zeid said that the preliminary meetings of this committee discussed at the beginning of the preparatory works of the committee issues regarding the committee's work and the agreements that will be ratified at the conclusion of the committee's works.

He said that it comprises five agreements in the fields of encouraging trade and investment and as well as protecting joint investment in the two countries.
