Morocco and South Africa to foster housing cooperation

Moroccan Housing Minister, Mohamed El Yazghi, conferred Thursday here with visiting South African peer, Ms Sankie Mthembi-Mahanyele, on ways of boosting cooperation between the two countries in matters of town planning, lodging and struggle against shanty-towns.
The two sides reviewed the possibility of enhancing the exchange of experiences in low-cost lodgings, use of local construction material, environment protection, eco-system balance as well as the encouragement of contacts between Moroccan and South African contractors and architects.
