Tunis: El-Ganoushi refuses presidential pardon

The chief of the Rebirth Party in Tunisia, Sheikh Rashed El-Ganoushi announced that the presidential pardon proposal presented by Tunisian President Bin Ali does not reflect anything new in dealing with the challenges taking place now in Tunisia.
That came in a press statement, a copy of which was obtained by ArabicNews.com.
He stated that it is just a clarifying statement regarding the Tunisian presidential pardon issued on November 7, in which he pointed out that the Rebirth movement still urged a national discussion to lead to political openness and open the road for a comprehensive national reconciliation based a democratic national basis that does not exclude anyone.
