Iran: We will strongly repel Israeli threats

Iranian Defense Minister Admiral Ali Shamkhani denounced the Turkish - Israeli alliance, saying, "This alliance is a discord in the Islamic world," thereby "we" are very sensitive to it and precisely follow up its developments.
In a statement to the Kuwaiti daily al-Rai al-Am issued on Thursday, the Iranian minister said that Israel "constitutes a military and security threat to Iran."
He stressed that, "Iran will repel the Israeli threats to strike Iran, strongly and in a way not to be believed by anyone," should these Israeli threats be carried out.
Replying to a question on the Israeli threats of strikes against certain Iranian strategic institutions, especially the Bu Shaher nuclear facility, Shamkhani said, "As military men we have to take into account worst possibilities," noting that Israel's possible attack against Iranian institutions is among these "worst possibilities."
The Iranian defense minister stressed that the US and foreign military presence in the Gulf region among one the threats directed against Iran. He said, "Experiences have proven that such presence is the main obstacle before normalizing relations in the region."
