French-speaking NGOs conference postponed to 1999

The third general conference of French-speaking non-governmental organizations, initially projected this month in Morocco, was postponed to the beginning of 1999.
The conference will be attended by secretary general of Francophony, Boutros Ghali, and general manager of the Francophony agency "ACCT." Over one hundred participants are expected together with several political, cultural, economic and education non-governmental organizations.
The conference is to be chaired by Abdellah Stouky of Morocco, president of the International Union of French-speaking media.
Held every two years, the general conference assesses cooperation actions undertaken between French-speaking entities.
