37 spanish prisoners detained in morocco serve rest of jail terms in spain

Thirty-Seven Spanish prisoners detained in Morocco will serve the rest of their jail terms in Spain by virtue of an accord passed between the two countries in 1997.
The Spanish justice secretary of state, Jose Luis Gonzalez said on Tuesday there are 80 Spanish nationals jailed in Morocco for various offenses.
He added that only sick or old detainees will benefit from the transfer measure provided for by the judiciary accord, signed between the Moroccan and Spanish justice departments.
