Towards the revision of the cultural accord concluded in 1966

Moroccan and Iranian ministers of cultural affairs, Mohamed Achaari and Ataollah Mohadjerani convened at a meeting here on Monday to revise and update the cultural accord signed by the two countries in 1966.
The two officials also agreed to hold Iranian Cultural days in Morocco in 1999 and Moroccan cultural days in Iran in year 2000.
It has also been decided to publish an anthology of Moroccan literature in the Persian language and of Iranian literature in Arabic.
The Iranian minister of culture and Islamic orientation, who took part in the second conference of islamic ministers of culture, --held in Rabat this November 12-14-- conferred with several other members of the Moroccan cabinet on means of upgrading bilateral cooperation in various realms.
