Active coordination to be maintained among Syria, Egypt, Saudi Arabia and Iran
Regional, Politics, 11/18/1998

Diplomatic sources stated that consultations are being held to discuss the possibility of active coordination between Syria, Egypt, Saudi Arabia and Iran, according to the London-based al-Hayat daily. The paper added that Lebanese Prime Minister Rafik Hariri raised this issue during his Sunday visit to Tehran, to "crystallize a firm Islamic stand towards the Israeli intransigence in the Middle East peace process as well as developments in the region."
