Active coordination to be maintained among Syria, Egypt, Saudi Arabia and Iran

Diplomatic sources stated that consultations are being held to discuss the possibility of active coordination between Syria, Egypt, Saudi Arabia and Iran, according to the London-based al-Hayat daily. The paper added that Lebanese Prime Minister Rafik Hariri raised this issue during his Sunday visit to Tehran, to "crystallize a firm Islamic stand towards the Israeli intransigence in the Middle East peace process as well as developments in the region."
