Moroccan exports of textiles cost billion dollars

Moroccan statistics said that during the first eight months of the current year Morocco has exported clothing and textiles worth $1 billion, despite increasing competition from southeast Asian countries.
A report released by the exchange bureau said that the exports of textiles, leather and ready-made clothes increased by 4% during August over the exports in the same period last year. France occupied the first position in receiving the Moroccan exports with nearly 65%, then Britain with 21% and Germany with 11%.
