Qatar prevents US plane from landing at Doha airport

The Qatari authorities on Sunday refused to permit a US Tower Air Boeing 747 / 200 to land at Doha International Airport.
AFP quoted air naval sources as saying that the plane, rented by the US army, returned on Sunday night to Charles DeGaulle airport after it was prevented from landing in Doha, SANA reported.
The plane would have returned on Monday morning to New York. The source did not clarify the reason behind refusing to allow the plane to land at Doha International Airport. The plane took off from John F. Kennedy airport in New York and landed at Paris Roissy airport in France for fuel supplies and then took off heading for Doha.
