Secretary of the Libyan's people's conference al-Zanati Muhammad al-Zanati has stressed his country's care to support and enhance cooperation relations with Japan. Egypt's Prime Minister Kamal al-Ganzouri today in Cairo met with the US Trade minister William Dally and members of the accompanying delegation. In a statement following the meeting, the Egyptian trade minister Ahmad Jweili, who attended the meeting, said the visit of the US delegation to Cairo falls in the course of fostering economic relations between Egypt and the US. Jweili added that talks held between al-Ganzouri and Dally dealt with " joint investment and means of attracting the US capitals and companies to take part in investments in Egypt to meet the demands of the Arab and African markets, alike."

Egypt's Foreign Minister Amre Mousa today in Cairo discussed with his Norwegian counterpart, currently visiting Egypt latest developments concerning the ME peace process. Following the meeting Moussa said Egypt is very concerned over the Iraqi crisis. He called upon the Iraqi government to respond positively to the diplomatic efforts, implement UN security council resolutions and to resume cooperation with UN inspection teams so as to avert Iraq and the Iraqi people the calamities of a new strike. For his part, the Norwegian FM stressed the need of continued ME peace process and to reactivate the European role in this process.
