An International bid for Alexandria subway

Soliman Metwali, the Egyptian minister of transportation, announced that it was decided to present implementing the first stage of the subway in Alexandria city to international biding in 8 months. In a press statement Metwali said that "all the studies regarding Alexandria subway project confirmed the importance of linking the city with its parts through implementing a subway line for Alexandria like the one exists in the Egyptian capital Cairo."
