NGOs condemn Israeli blockade on Palestinians

Forty non-governmental organizations NGO's in the Palestinian territories denounced the arbitrary blockade imposed by Israel and appealed to the international community to condemn the blockade.
In a statement released on Wednesday, the organizations made it clear that the Israeli closure which limited the freedom of movement added a heavy burden and further risks of the Palestinians whose living standards dropped 25 percent since 1994.
The statement said Israeli still prevents people from moving freely, and allows only 30,000 Palestinians out of 2.5 millions to move from one place to another. The statements added that "Strict Israeli measures cannot ensure security," adding that security is a mirage unless concluded agreements are honored.
