Jordan takes reinforces positions on borders with Iraq

The London-based al-Hayat daily said on Wednesday that well- informed Jordanian sources expected Jordan to take preventive measures within the few coming days. These include military reinforcement along its Eastern borders with Iraq. The paper added that Western diplomatic sources monitored via satellites Syrian and Turkish moves of military build up and heavy weapons to the border area with Iraq for fears of a US military strike against Iraq.
