Palestinian authority releases Hamas leaderships

The Palestinian government released yesterday two leaders of Hamas (Islamic resistance movement) Dr. Mohammed El-Zahar and Dawood Abu Khater after a period of detainment lasting three weeks since the operation of Ghmoosh Katif.
The release of EL-Zahar comes after the Palestinian government has pervasively released a number of Hamas political leaders - among them were Ismael Abu Shanb, Sheik Ahmed Bahr Sayed Abu Sameh and Ismael Hanyea.
A Palestinian security official told ArabicNews.com "the Palestinian authority has confirmed to Hamas leaders that it is going to allow liberty of expression and opinions for everybody without affecting the sovereignty of law."
