Iraq is ready to make a deal to avoid military act

Ireland's former Premier Albert Reynolds expressed conviction that Iraq is ready to reach a settlement so as to avoid threats of military acts following the recent crisis with UNSCOM team.
Reynolds who talked to Journalists yesterday called upon the US and Britain to give up threats to use military force against Baghdad and to negotiate in order to reach a solution for this crisis.
Reynolds, who is also member of the Irish Parliament called upon the US President Bill Clinton and the British Premier Tony Blair to pursue dialogue and discussions in order to lift the sanctions imposed on Baghdad. He proposed that the UN will lift the sanctions imposed on delivery of medicine to Iraq, where he said he is going to consult with US officials on these matters
