New German government: No change in Middle East policy

German Foreign Minister Joshka Fischer on Tuesday announced that no change will be made in the German policy towards the Middle east despite the election of a new government in the country.
In a joint press conference he held in Washington with his US counterpart Madeleine Albright, Fischer was quoted as saying that the European Union need more time to play a more positive role in the Middle East.
