An Egyptian trade free zone in Turkey

Cairo is currently examining a Turkish offer to establish a free trade zone in one of the harbors in southern Turkey for storing Egyptian goods and reexporting them to the region of Central Asia.
Egyptian Assistant Foreign Minister for European Affairs Fathi El-Shazely said today that the Egyptian government authorized an Egyptian research center to examine the offer to reach an accord for free trade between the two countries.
El-Shazely also referred to the suggested accord, saying that it would allow new apportunities for the bank of Middle Asia that represents one of the priorities of Egyptian diplomatic work, and for Egypt's regional responsibility to open new horizons for Egyptian businessmen.
