Pakistani ambassador in Cairo denies a meeting between his country's president with his Israeli counterpart

Pakistani ambassador in Cairo Tayeib Sadiki denied yesterday the accuracy of published reports regarding a meeting between Pakistani President Rafik Tarar and his Israeli counterpart, Ezer Weizman, on the margins of a celebration in Turkey few days ago for the 75th anniversary of the establishment of the Turkish Republic.
The Pakistani ambassador added that the Foreign Ministry issued a statement that denied this news, and he said that Pakistan has not had any relations with Israel through the last 50 years.
