Islamists before Egyptian court

The Egyptian state security court on Saturday started an inquiry into 28 Muslim Brotherhood members under charges of reviving the group's activities by attracting groups of Egyptian youths.
An Egyptian judicial source said the military court started inquiries into 50 Egyptians suspected of being involved in the aggression against the Egyptian embassy in Islamabad in 1995.
Egyptian Information Minister Safwat al-Sharif said that President Mubarak unveiled in a meeting with French journalists in Sharm El-Sheikh that the government of Ecuador handed over Cairo Muhammad Obeid Abdul al-Al, who was involved in last year's aggression against Luxor, in which some 56 tourists were killed in November 1997.
Leaders of the Islamic Group jailed in Egypt urged their partisans not to join a front seeking to strike at US interests.
Exiled Saudi billionaire Osama Bin Laden has established an international Islamic organization to strike US targets.
