Yemeni foreign minister in Damascus

Yemeni Foreign Minister Abdul Qader Bajmal arrived on Sunday in Damascus for a short visit during which he will convey a message from Yemeni President Ali Abdullah Saleh to President Hafez al-Assad.
In statements to reporters, the Yemeni minister stressed his country's support for Syria and Yemen's appreciation for Syria's position toward Yemeni issues. He added that he will discuss bilateral relations and issues of mutual concern with Syrian officials.
