Yemeni Foreign Minister Abdul Qader Bajmal is to arrive in Cairo tonight, carrying a communique from Yemeni President Ali Abdullah Saleh to his Egyptian counterpart, President Mubarak.

The communique contains thanks to President Mubarak for the efforts he made to defuse the crisis between Yemen and Eritrea as well as the items of the judgment issued by the international high court of arbitration in that crisis.

The three-day visit comes at the invitation of Egyptian Foreign Minister Amr Moussa, during which Bajmal will meet with President Mubarak, Moussa and Arab League Secretary-General Esmat Abdul Meguid.

Yemeni information official Gamili Ali Ragaa said that the Yemeni FM is going to discuss with Mubarak and Moussa recent developments in the Middle East peace process, and the situation after the judgment awarding sovereignty over the Hanish Islands to Yemen.
