Trade agreements between Egypt and South Africa to be signed today

Egypt and South Africa are endorsing today three agreements on trade, economic cooperation, and encouraging and protecting investments and marine transportation between the two countries.
Egyptian Minister of Trade and Supply Ahmed Goweili signed the agreements for Egypt and the South African minister of foreign works signed for South Africa.
At the conclusion of three days of meetings of the high Egyptian joint committee with South Africa, Goweili said these three agreements contribute to the exchange of information on trade between the two countries The agreements also facilitate air transportation and establishing trade fairs in all fields.
Goweili added that during the committee's meetings, the two countries' businessmen agreed to prepare for more bilateral cooperation in trade exchange and supporting exports, pointing out that Egypt's total exports to South Africa amount to nearly $40 million a year while imports amount to $14 million.
