Israeli forces attacked the Touleen, al-Hujayr Depression, Arab Saleem, banks of the Zahrani River,Upper Nabatieh and Deserted Army Barracks areas of South Lebanon, the Lebanese National News Agency reported. No information was immediately available on the amount of damage caused by the artullary and machine-gun attacks or on injuries.

The Israeli-allied South Lebanon Army militia assaulted Maymass, Hasbaya, Jwayya and Qelya villages, the report said, "in a bid to force local villagers into collaborating with the Israelis."
