Police disperse employment demonstration in Rabat

The police dispersed this Monday a demonstration in Rabat of unemployed young college graduates who came from all over Morocco askong for a job.
The demonstrators were planning to protest before the parliament at Rabat's main square. Local authorities denied on Wednesday to the National Association of Unemployed diploma-holders (ANDC/unlicensed) authorization to stage the demonstration.
In September, a group of unemployed doctors and engineers who staged a 56 day sit-in before the parliament were received by king Hassan II and hired by the administration.
