Arab League to convene symposium on organized crime across Arab borders

In the headquarters of the general trusteeship of the Arab League, a symposium on orgnized crime across Arab borders will convene at the beginning of November for two days.
There will be participation of high-ranking officials from Arab Ministries of Justice, judicial fronts, organizations concerned with Arab states and representatives of the Arab justice ministers' council.
Radwan Ben Khafda, the assistant secretary-general for legal affairs in the Arab League said yesterday that the symposium will discuss cross-border organized crime, which has increased recently in the Arab states, study cooperation methods among judicial and the security bodies in the Arab states to combat such crimes, including drugs, money laundering, prostitution and environmental crimes.
Ben Khafda said the symposium will convene for the first time according to the decision issued by the Arab justice ministers' council in its last session concerning this serious topic.
