UN's special envoy visits Baghdad

Prakask Shah, the special envoy of the UN's secretary-general, is visiting Baghdad to resume talks concerning the crisis between Iraq the United Nations over weapons inspections.

Iraqi sources told ArabicNews.com that the special envoy has called on Iraqi Prime Minister Tariq Aziz to reveal a document the UN inspectors requested concerning the number of artillery shells and bombs used by Baghdad in its war with Iran.

The sources added that Richard Butler ,the head of UNSCOM, the UN weapon inspection agency, called for the document after it was uncovered in last July during the inspection process for Iraqi air forces, but he did not obtain it.
