Commercial relations between Egypt and Algeria developing

The joint statement from the meetings of the Algerian - Egyptian joint committee was signed yesterday under the chairmanship of Egyptian Minister of Trade and Supply Ahmed Goweili and his Algerian counterpart, Belaid Bakhti.
Goweili said the joint statement comprised an agreement on coordination in discussing the establishment of a free trade zone between the two countries, in addition to exchanging information, trade and investments.
Goweili added that it has been decided to establish a joint trade chamber between the two countries to activate relations among businessmen, especially because the the private sector has become the essential sector in the two countries.
