Kuwait hosts a Islamic seminar on genetic engineering

Kuwait is playing host to a seminar on the view and stand of Islam regarding genetic engineering and related scientific disciplines.
The three-day event, which opened tuesday with the participation of renowned moslem theologians, physicians and academicians, is hearing a number of papers dealing with heredity, genetic engineering of human and animal genes as well as of plants
The role of genetic engineering in boosting and improving agriculture produce will also be tackled during the seminar which is organized by the Kuwaiti Islamic organization for medical sciences in cooperation with the Al-Alzhar university and the Islamic educational, scientific and cultural Organization "isesco."
