Ankara admits: Damascus closed Kurdistani camps

Further detente has been recorded in Syrian -Turkish disputes after Ankara admitted that Syria has put an end to the activity of the Kurdistani Workers Party on its territories, a matter which has been repeatedly announced by Damascus.
Turkish Defense Minister Ismat Sezgin said: "We have the impression that the leader of the Kurdistani Workers Party is not now in Syria." He added that such impressions were held following talks with the Iranian and Egyptian foreign ministers."
Sezgin added "We will investigate this matter by setting up a security committee to be established for this purpose."
