President al-Assad receives a message from Tunisian counterpart

Syrian President Hafez al-Assad on Monday at the Damascus al-Chaab palace received Tunisian Foreign Minister Saeed Bin Mustafa, who conveyed to the President a message from the Tunisian President Zein al-Abidin Bin Ali on developments in the region and "fraternal relations between the two countries."
Talks dealt with the situation arising from the Turkish escalation. The Tunisian FM stressed Tunisia's concern over the Turkish escalation in the region and its appreciation for Syria's position in favor of maintaining dialogue and adhering to diplomatic methods in dealing with disputes.
