Turkey succeeds in escalating crisis with Syria

Correspondent of Monte Carlo radio in Ankara quoted the Turkish dailies as saying today that the visit of the Egyptian Foreign Minister Amr Moussa to Turkey came as a result of Turkey's success in escalating the current crisis with Syria. The Turkish dailies expected the Egyptian foreign minister to have carried with him a proposal which provides for Damascus expelling Kurdish leader Abdullah Oclan from its territories against starting to convene meetings between the foreign ministers of Syria and Turkey in Cairo.
