Palestinian - Egyptian talks at the end of the week

Egyptian President Hosni Mubarak and Palestinian President Yasser Arafat are holding talks at the end of the current week in Cairo at the evening in which Arafat will head to Washington to participate in a trio meeting with U.S. President Bill Clinton and Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu.
Egyptian Foreign Minister Amr Moussa, Egyptian presidential political advisor Osama El-Baz, the secretary of the executive committee of the Palestinian Liberation Organization Mahmoud Abbas (Abu Mazen), and Palestinian chief negotiator Saeb Erekat will participate in the Palestinian - Egyptian talks.
The talks will tackle the Palestinian position on the peace process and discuss the topics and ideas presented during the recent tour of the area by US Secretary of State Madeleine Albright, within the Palestinian coordination and consultation with Egypt.
