Lebanon develops volume of trade with Syria and Kuwait
Lebanon-Kuwait, Economics, 10/6/1998
Lebanon and Kuwait agreed to developing commercial cooperation between them through gradual removal of customs fees posed on locally-manufactured industrial products during the coming four years.
Lebanese sources said today that the agreement instituted a time schedule to reduce fees on industrial products at a rate of 25% annually.
The Lebanese - Kuwaiti agreement coincided with a Syrian resolution according to which Lebanese companies were granted a reduction of nearly 7% on advertising costs for their products in the Syrian governmental mass media within many steps that aim at improving commercial relations between the two states.
