Ruler of Kuwait confers with French admiral

Ruler of Kuwait Sheikh Jaber al-Ahmad al-Sabah on Monday in Kuwait received commander of the French naval forces Admiral Jan Lewes on the occasion of assuming his post of office as a commander of the French naval forces in the Gulf area.
Talks dealt with bilateral relations and military cooperation between France and Kuwait. Earlier in the day, Kuwaiti Crown Prince and Prime Minister Sheikh Saad al-Abdullah al-Sabah discussed with Admiral Lewes bilateral relations and standing cooperation between Kuwait and France in all fields.
