Cairo: 500 million pounds for first stage of technology valley

Egyptian Minister of Public Works Atef Ebied announced today that they are currently setting up executive measures for the project of a "technology valley" in Ismalia governorate covering 16,500 feddans.

The "technology valley" project will be implemented in five stages, in which the investments in the first stage amount to nearly 500 million pounds.

The project will serve several large technology fields, such as establishing electronic enterprises, information technology, new and renewable energy, genetic engineering, high-tech production tools, medical equipment, and technologies dealing with medical and agricultural substances in addition to the fields of management and marketing.

Ebied stated that he will attach many other services to the project, such as water networks, electricity, roads, natural gas and communications, in addition to health, educational, sports, cultural, entertainment, housing, trade and religious services.
