Exhibition for Egyptian products in Jeddah

A week-long exhibition for Egyptian products will be inaugurated today in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia.
The head of the exhibition organization and the international markets in Egypt, Mohammed Said Saleh, told ArabicNews.com today that 160 Egyptian companies are participating in this exhibition. The participating businesses work in the fields of textile, clothes, engineering industries, minerals, foods, chemicals, and mining products.
He added that the exhibition will pave the way for the Egyptian and Saudi businessmen's meetings which will begin on October 20 under the auspices of Mecca's Prince Majid Bin Abdul Aziz and will last for four days. At the meetings, the Egyptian side will present two projects for establishing a Saudi - Egyptian commercial free zone as well as for establishing new joint projects.
meanwhile, Saudi Arabia is conducting two studies concerning on the effects of of the Asian crisis on the economy of the area and concerning the investment climate in the Saudi kingdom.
