Some 15 gunmen killed in Algeria

The Algerian dailies reported on Wednesday that army security forces killed 15 gunmen from the Armed Islamic Group (GIA) during vast mopping-up operations carried out in Sedi Jabou Bakr district in Saeeda province.
The Algerian daily Al-Aseel said that army forces found the bodies of two women and a third woman was found wounded when a shelter for gunmen was stormed. The paper added that the Algerian security forces arrested a seven-member group in charge of providing the GIA with food and supplies.
The army forces, moreover, destroyed six shelters for the armed groups during a mopping up operations in Salman city in Medea province.
For its part, the Algerian daily al-Khabar said that two citizens were killed when a bomb exploded on Tuesday in Ein Aden village of Seidi Bal Abbas province.
