Palestinians learn water management in Morocco with German support

Moroccan Drinking Water Office has started a new training session for Palestinian technicians in the fields of water conveyance, maintenance and sewage.
The six-week training program, sponsored by Germany, includes courses on drinking water planning, management, demand-supply, follow-up of economic projects and environment protection.
The training program is part of a German-supervised project launched in 1995, which has so far about 260 Palestinians.
The Moroccan airports Office trained lately a number of Palestinians in airport's management and maintenance.
Under an accord passed in 1995 with the Palestinian civil aviation authority, The moroccan office supervised the construction of the Gaza airport and trained Palestinian ground personnel for its operating and management.
