Morocco to settle all pending human rights issues

Morocco has decided to settle all human rights pending issues, the daily Al Hayat reported Tuesday.
Quoting an unidentified official source, the daily wrote that king Hassan II has given instructions for the settlement of these issues in completion of the grace he had granted in 1994 to some 400 political prisoners and exiled persons.
For "Asharaq Al Awsat" daily, the pending human rights issues are topping the agenda of a meeting of the Human Rights Consultative Council, which opened Monday.
The daily which quotes informed sources said it is expected that the interior ministry will take measures in this field and that measures related to the issue of missing persons, compensation of former prisoners will also be announced.
