Presence of Daewoo in Morocco offers great opportunities to Italian enterprises

The presence of the South Korean group "Daewoo" in Morocco is offering important business opportunities to Italian enterprises operating in the sectors of car-making and electronic devices.
According to business circles in Italy, the South Korean group, which projects to build by next April two industrial plants in Morocco, will have recourse to Italian sub-contracting firms for the supply of car spare parts and electronic components.
Daewoo's industrial plants project to produce annually around 100,000 vehicles, two Million cathodic tubes and one million television sets.
The project, estimated to cost $400 million will create 6,000 new jobs.
