Morocco's Khalid Skah Wins Bronze in World Semi-Marathon Championships

Moroccan athlete Khalid Skah won the bronze medal at the third world Half-Marathon Championships held Sunday in Uster (Switzerland). Skah covered the 21.1 km race in 1.00:24 behind south African Hendrick Ramaala. The race was won by Kenyan star Paul Koech.
In the women's category, the semi-marathon was bagged by Kenyan runner Tegla Loroupe. Second place went to South African Elana Meyer, followed by Lidia Simon of Romania.
