Privatizing 50 Tunisian companies in two years

A program for privatizing 50 economic corporations is currently arranged to be implemented in Tunis during the coming two years.

These companies are in the fields of cement production, electricity and mechanical industries in addition to the service sector.

The privatization program provides opportunities to attract foreign investors to such projects building roads, electricity production, water and water treatment.

Financial sources for the companies that were privatized previously refer to great development for profit and production.

The privatization process that took place during the previous 10 years in Tunisia led to privatizing 93 corporations, bringing in nearly $400 million.
