King instructs government to find jobs for doctors, engineers who staged sit in
Morocco, Economics, 9/23/1998
King Hassan II of Morocco instructed the government to find jobs for the unemployed doctors and engineers who have been staging for 56 days a sit-in in front of the parliament in Rabat.
The king received on Tuesday representatives of the unemployed doctors and engineers to whom he gave orientation and advice. The group of graduates decided last Saturday to end their sit-in following a meeting with Interior Minister Driss Basri, whom they asked to convey their grievances to the sovereign.
