United Arab Emirates suggests quickly establishing free trade zone with Egypt

The United Arab Emirates announced that it has suggested that Egypt make haste in establishing a free trade zone between the two states within the Arab comprehensive free trade zone agreement.
UAE Minister of Economy and Commerce Sheikh Fahim Bin Sultan al-Qasimi said that Abu Dhabi presented a proposal to Cairo to speed up the establishment of a free trade zone between the UAE and Egypt.
He added that the UAE recently delivered a proposal to Egypt concerning this matter, which will be discussed during a coming visit by a negotiation team from the UAE to Egypt in November.
He also stated that negotiations concerning this matter will be held with many Arab states working to establish the Arab free trade zone during a short period of time.
