GCC marine force leaders meet in Manama

The marine forces leaders of the Gulf Cooperation Council GCC member states on Tuesday held their 26th meeting. The Gulf News Agency said that participants in the meeting discussed means of exchanging information and expertise as well as requirements of the forthcoming phase for ensuring security and stability in the region.
They also discussed intensifying inter-GCC member states cooperation and coordination together with other countries that have interests in the region. The participants also discussed joint exercises and the annual training cooperation programs for upgrading tactical capacity and modernizing naval fighting exercises.
