Ross in Jordan today

The US embassy in Israel said that US Middle East peace process coordinator Dennis Ross will visit Jordan today to acquaint its officials with the results of his mediation efforts between Israel and the Palestinian government. Spokesman for the Embassy said Ross will meet with Jordanian Crown Prince Hassan. The spokesman gave no more details.
So far Ross has failed to achieve any tangible progress in his efforts due to the persistence of the Israeli government on its unacceptable conditions, especially in relation to the are of redeployment, according to the US initiative and what it claims as its "national security."
