Egypt asks Israel to abide by obligations
Egypt-Regional, Politics, 9/16/1998
Egyptian Prime Minister Kamal Ganzouri asked the Israeli government to carry out agreements and obligations reached on all peace tracks, according to international resolutions.
In a speech he delivered on Tuesday in Cairo in the "Arab world economics" symposium, Ganzouri held the Israeli government responsible for obstructing the peace process. He asserted that the Madrid formula and the land for peace principle form the basis for reaching a just and comprehensive peace in the Middle East.
