IDB to buy a new aircraft at US $100 million

The Islamic Development Bank has announced that it will buy an aircraft at a cost of US $100 million to rent it to Malaysian airlines for ten years.
A statement issued by the Islamic Development Bank in Manama on Sunday said the deal will be supplied by a fund monitored by the IDB. The fund has shares in 20 Islamic financial and banking establishments. The statement did not mention the type of plane or the time set for its purchase.
